Blessings 39-43

39. Isaiah 43:
But now, this is what the Lord says -- he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you..."

40. encouragement I received at BSF yesterday to let people know about this blog idea - I'm hesitant to share it because it's a big commitment, but I heard God's encouragement yesterday about what I'm doing while I'm WAITing on God's promises. God has us wait because He is patient and merciful and desires more people to come to Him. I'm hopeful that our reasons for blessing God will be a witness to others during this time.

41. Claudia and Jake went back to Thursday school today in Holland. They left excited for the day and VERY excited about their offer to spend the night at their friends' house on Hope College's campus! Go Hope!

42. I got a counseling appt for myself for this morning! It went well and just helped to cover some more of our story.

43. Time to watch Downton Abbey and LAY LOW with a great friend!
